'This track is a huge earworm. Sounds ready to go straight to a
festival main stage' - Phoebe I-H (BBC Introducing

State of Satta are back! This time with long term friend of the band - Glasgow's  based vocalist and producer Tom Spirals. Following the cult success of Moonlight Bubaloo they bring you the first instalment from their EP: We Still Move.

‘Shadows and Neon’ is an infectious ode to the kaleidoscope of colourful characters that fill up our streets every weekend. Think the upbeat vibes of Gentleman's Dub Club colliding with cheeky lyrical swagger of Blur's infamous  "parklife" .Contained with in its 4 minutes and 15 seconds; experience romance, heartbreak, bold brass-lines, kebab sauce, lad culture, bouncy bass , freezing cold girls, catchy choruses and the ever burdening question ‘are we doing it again?!’

This organic combination of the original chatterbox, Tom Spirals and Leeds’ freshest live dub is a joyous and powerful collaboration which breathes some fresh air into the UK Reggae scene. With a clean but still heavyweight production style, relatable tongue in cheek lyrics and a slick music video beautifully shot and directed by Chris Werrett, infectious UK Reggae just got its 2022 glow up.

State of Satta are a 7 piece Uk Reggae band based in the north of England brought together by a collective love of dub and reggae. The band fuse the rhythms of one-drop and steppas, bone shaking bass lines and resonant vocals to create a distinct groove driven sound. Founded from the ashes of 2020, State of Satta released their first live Single and Video session ‘Bring out the Fiya’ in the Spring of 2021 garnering 15,000 views on Facebook within its first 3 days.

Tom Spirals is a vocalist and producer from Glasgow, well known for being the voice of the infamous Walk n Skank sessions with Mungo's Hifi. Nominated as Best Live act at this year's Scottish Alternative Music Awards - His energetic performances have taken him right round the globe and back again, from UK to Australia, South America to Europe, Spirals is a musical ninja and the missions never done. Now focused on a new album alongside DJ Vadim and his new Scottish trad fusion project An Dannsa Dub .. this is only the beginning.
